Teaching Transcendental Meditation
The Transcendental Meditation course is offered in Canada by Global Country of World Peace (GCWP), an educational not-for-profit which aims to advance the education of the public by offering courses and services of the highest quality. GCWP is the not-for-profit educational organization mandated to provide the Transcendental Meditation programme as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to all Canadians. GCWP publicizes its services widely to inform members of the public about the benefits of TM® technique, and maintains 30 Transcendental Meditation Centres run by qualified certified teachers of Transcendental Meditation.
David Lynch Foundation Canada
The David Lynch Foundation of Canada helps to enhance the lives of students by promoting the implementation of the Transcendental Meditation program in educational institutions and the adoption of the practice by Canadian students.
GCWP encourages and supports independent academic institutions to carry out scientific research into the benefits of Transcendental Meditation and its advanced techniques. More than 350 peer-reviewed research studies on the TM technique have been published in over 160 scientific journals have already documented the wide-ranging benefits for every aspect of life: mind, body, behaviour, and society.
