Suspending TM Instructions
As an organization, we are committed to playing a constructive role in limiting the societal spread of COVID-19.
So, we have temporarily suspended all in-person teaching activities, including instruction in the Transcendental Meditation technique and introductory talks.
For over 60 years, our Mission has been to deliver this transformative meditation practice to Canadians. But during these unprecedented times, we put that Mission on hold to join the collective fight against the spread of COVID-19.
In these times of heightened stress and anxiety, we recognize that many are looking to Transcendental Meditation as a source of resilience and calm. We are unwavering in our commitment to teaching Transcendental Meditation when we emerge from this pandemic.
Why We Don’t Teach Transcendental Meditation Online
Our commitment to providing the best possible learning experience is why Transcendental Meditation is taught in the same way it has been for thousands of years.
And it’s why we are committed to maintaining in-person instruction in TM.
After teaching Transcendental Meditation to tens of thousands of people, we know how profound that first experience practicing Transcendental Meditation can be. And we don’t want to deprive anyone who wants to learn of that cherished experience — even if it means having to wait a little longer to learn.
